Leadership Development Programs

Offsites

Partner with DU Executive Education to facilitate offsites that encourage innovation and community building. Whether you are seeking to accelerate team development or solve a business challenge, offsites get your people out of daily routines and into a headspace to spur creativity and alignment. We offer half, full, and two-day offsites in a variety of formats based on your objectives.

Real-world applications:

Team Building Offsite: Experience a two-day team building offsite in the Rocky Mountains. With content that blends experiential activities with team management best practices, the outcome is enhanced team dynamics, improved relationships, and increased productivity and performance back in the workplace.

Business Offsite: Our faculty can design an offsite around a current business challenge or use case. We can facilitate design thinking or brainstorm sessions, steer a strategy design workshop, or help executive teams refine their management operating system.

Executive Learning Sessions

Our Faculty are experts in a wide range of business topics relevant to leading in today’s dynamic world—they can provide “booster shot” sessions around an emerging topic critical to your business. We’ve delivered sessions on AI and Machine Learning, Business Ethics, Advanced Negotiation, and Organizational Development to name a few.

Real-world applications:

  • Faculty deliver a half or full day session on understanding the foundations of AI and Machine Learning—including current operational uses, as well as preparing the organizational culture for rapidly evolving technology.
  • A half-day session on advanced negotiation for a sales team

Case Study: Comcast Denver Leadership Academy

The Comcast Denver Leadership Academy Program is a nine-month intensive leadership program aimed at director-level, high-performing candidates within Comcast’s leadership.

Created by Executive Education faculty Kerry Plemmons and Todd Porch, in collaboration with Comcast Senior Executives, the program focuses on developing self-awareness, confidence, and decision-making abilities to prepare participants for senior leadership roles.

Topics covered include engagement, culture, execution, design and strategy, and customer experience, with learning activities conducted at the University of Denver and in the Rocky Mountains. Participants apply their learnings to drive innovation, creativity, and increase profitability.
