Jordon Bailey Schultz

About Jordan
Jordan Schultz is lucky enough to call Golden her hometown. Jordan is the Chief Operating Officer and third generation family member of her family’s business The Bailey Company. The Bailey Company has also been located in Golden for the past 30 years. She received her B.A from the University of Colorado and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Growing up in the Golden area and living in Colorado for her whole life has made her passionate about seeing Golden thrive for future generations. Jordan is now raising the 4th generation of her family in Golden, with her husband and two young kids.

Taylor navigates both business paths by adhering to the core values of integrity, trust, excellence, respect and teamwork, as well as focusing on building a strong foundation centered on company culture. Taylor is a life-long learner with an unquenchable thirst for self-improvement and professional development. He earned dual BSBA degrees in Management and Finance from the University of Denver Daniels College Of Business, then went on to complete the Owner President Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is also a member of YPO Boulder.

About Glenn
He received the David Ricardo Medal for thought leadership in Real Estate Cycles by the American Real Estate Society in 2019, the Richard Radcliff Award for Groundbreaking Research in Real Estate Market Cycles by the American Real Estate Society in 2010, the Graaskamp Award for Research Leadership from the American Real Estate Society in 2004, and the Graaskamp Award for Research Excellence from the Pension Real Estate Association in 2001. He was the co-editor of the Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management 2000-2014.
Prior to DU and FORE, Glenn was a professor at Johns Hopkins University and Colorado State University. He has held top research positions at Black Creek Group, Legg Mason, Price Waterhouse, ABKB/LaSalle Investment Management and Prudential Real Estate Investors. He was also a developer/builder in New England. He holds a BSBA from the University of Denver, MBA from Babson College and PhD in Real Estate from Georgia State University, Former research positions at Black Creek Group Legg Mason, Inc., Price Waterhouse Coopers, ABKB/ Jones Lange LaSalle Real Estate Investors and Prudential Real Estate Investors.

She was also senior executive vice president of AON’s Financial Services Group and its intellectual property division, and held underwriting management positions at AIG and Chubb, where she specialized in intellectual property liability, directors & officers liability, fidelity and similar coverage forms and underwriting for US-based Fortune 500 and equivalent foreign-based corporations.

Richa is a consultant with The Family Business Consulting Group, specializing in conflict resolution, communication, organizational behavior and human resources. Her experience includes educating and creating awareness amongst business families, facilitating family meetings, designing structures and creating and implementing family charters. Her most recent work and area of interests are Legacy conversations around values, family philosophy and succession. She is an Adjunct faculty for the Bailey Program for Family Enterprise at the University of Denver, and is a global family enterprise consultant.

Maintained 95% retention during Covid19 motivating the team through buying an RV and driving 5,300 miles across 17 states to visit 6 properties and each of the 65 managers. Chair of the Board, Co-CEO and Owner with oversight of seven P&L’s with $75M in revenue and 700 employees.
Owned and managed 6 hotels and successfully negotiated loan modifications for each through the pandemic with Wells Fargo, Rialto, and Midland. Franchise ownership and experience with Marriott, Starbucks and IHG. Led complete renovations of five Historic Buildings, transforming them into 150 – 330 room boutique hotels, resulting in AAA 4 Diamond and International Design awards in New Orleans, Denver, Houston, St. Louis and Omaha. Successfully transacted a $45 Million real estate deal 9 days after the property was hit by a multimillion-dollar natural disaster and orchestrated management contracts, insurance claims, legal, investors, and banks to close the deal on time all during the pandemic.
