The Daniels Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee
Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee was created to systematically examine our policies, processes and practices with respect to DEI. The committee aims to identify gaps and propose specific steps we can take to grow the culture of inclusivity at Daniels.
Among other things, the committee will:
- actively seek student input
- arrange training for faculty and staff
- strengthen hiring practices to broaden outreach, with the goal of increasing minoritized representation among faculty and staff hires
- create opportunities for dialog across groups within DU and with the broader community
- evaluate curriculum and co-curricular activities to embed DEI values and representation for our students
- collaborate with DEI at DU and uphold the University’s DEI Action Plan
