Conrad Ciccotello’s primary research interests are in law and finance, with an emphasis in financial intermediation and services.
Ciccotello has received research grants from TIAA Institute, Kauffman Foundation, the William Davidson Institute, and the Financial Planning Foundation. He is the author of the first two chapters in Mutual Funds: The Blackwell Series in Finance.
His research on the financial advisory profession is cited in the Federal Register and his paper on the market timing of mutual funds is entered into the Congressional Record as Senate Banking Committee testimony.

Andy Schnackenberg’s research seeks to explain the influence of a firm’s information sharing tactics on outcomes such as stakeholder perceptions of organizational trustworthiness, legitimacy, reputation and credibility using concepts such as transparency, symbolism and rhetoric. He uses content analysis, set-theoretic methods and other quantitative approaches to study these topics.

Pisun (Tracy) Xu’s areas of interest include corporate finance, corporate governance, empirical asset pricing and international finance. Xu has performed research on managerial incentives and how those track to a company’s cash position as well as monetary policy and global REIT markets and corporate governance on banking lending decisions.
