What Is The Garage?
A space where the DU community can explore, innovate, collaborate and pursue their entrepreneurial passions.
The Garage is a co-working and makerspace located at the corner of Asbury and York St. on the University of Denver campus. As the headquarters of Entrepreneurship@DU, the Garage provides DU creators and entrepreneurs with the support they need to pursue their ideas, while offering them a vibrant space to meet, collaborate and learn more about entrepreneurship.
The Garage offers a cross-disciplinary community of DU students, faculty, staff and alumni where everyone is welcomed and encouraged to ideate, regardless of their skill level or background. And in the Makerspace, the community can learn to use the tools they need to bring their ideas to life.
Accessing The Garage
Fall Quarter 2024 Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
After 4 p.m.: By reservation only. Make a reservation
Friday: Keycard access only
All DU students, faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to drop by The Garage at any time during opening hours. Full-time keycard access to The Garage is available for select students with Garage offices, active microgrants or Entrepreneurship minors. Email us at DU.Entrepreneur@du.edu for support.

In order to use the Makerspace, or to get one-on-one training on how to use a piece of equipment, schedule an appointment with one of the TAs by clicking on the link below their name. *In order to use the scheduling links, you must use the Google Chrome browser.*
- Select the TA below that you’d like to meet with based on their expertise and availability.
- Click “Schedule an appointment” to reserve a 30-minute meeting with that TA. Please don’t miss your appointment, as TA availability is limited.
- Appointments are hosted in The Garage.
- Appointments are typically 30 minutes, but you can choose to stay longer and use the tools, equipment and space. provided at The Garage. Your TA may be able to continue working with you, depending on their schedule.

The Makerspace
Located in the lower level (#2315) of the Garage, the Makerspace is equipped with rapid prototyping equipment including 3D printers, color printers, a wide format printer and more. Whether you’re interested in creating a new product or just want to learn more about the machines, we encourage you to stop by!
You don’t need to know how to use any of the machines, technology or devices to take advantage of the makerspace—it was created as a safe space for students to explore, learn and pursue innovative ideas. A group of skilled teaching assistants is available to answer questions and help you use the machines and bring your ideas to life.

Coworking space
Located in the main Garage area, the coworking space makes collaboration a breeze. There are several different spaces available to collaborate or work independently on projects or meet with one of our mentors or TAs.
No reservations are required to drop in to the coworking space!
Amenities Include:
- offices for student teams
- a conference room
- access to WiFi
- coffee, drinks and snacks provided by E@DU
The co-working space is designed to be an energetic, stimulating area where students can bring their innovative ideas to life. The space will also host events throughout the year.
