DO U

DO U Entrepreneurship is a student organization that unifies undergraduates from all years and all areas of study through innovation, ideation and inspiration.

The DU Entrepreneurship environment fosters creativity, aspiration and grit that transform dreams into reality. It’s a safe space for freedom of thought, expression, mistakes and failures. The entrepreneurship club is a gateway for the average DU student to enter the world of risk, uncertainty, and reward. Ultimately, students are encouraged to do what they have always dreamed of doing; to DO U.

Members don’t need to be enrolled in a business class or be a member of the Daniels College of Business. All are encouraged to participate, innovate and pursue their passions. Join DO U.

OUR VISION

We aim to bring together DU students from every program and any school of thought and introduce them to entrepreneurial studies. Students of all levels and backgrounds will be provided a space that caters directly to what they wish to aspire, whether that is to increase personal hard or soft skills, receive inspiration and brainstorming, practice hands-on activities, or other entrepreneurial endeavors. Activities will be hosted for more developed entrepreneurs to learn and get connected with more with more experienced entrepreneurs [could we say more experienced partners, or mentors?], as well as for entrepreneurs who simply have an impactful idea and need guidance in taking the initial step.

what we offer

COMMUNITY

DO U provides students with a safe space to engage with, learn from and be inspired by their peers, connecting students from various schools around the DU campus and various years.

Skill Development

Our club meetings are workshop-style meet ups where students can learn how to fine-tune their entrepreneurial endeavors, from refining   their target market to experimenting with different tractional channels to understanding the steps of the sale.

Connect with students around the DU campus that may share your interests and passions and could assist you in pursuing your idea. Use our alumni network to guide you on future career and professional opportunities. Work across a variety of departments and establish relationships with faculty that can set you and your idea up for success.

Mentorship

We offer guidance for each of our members, for anything from generating an idea to understanding their start-up financial model to pitching to a potential investor.
