Why have you decided to pursue a PhD?
I am pursuing a PhD to pair my industry experience with a research lens. I see several issues that I’d like to explore to more fully understand, and a PhD provides a focused opportunity to do that research.
Why did you choose to get your PhD from the Daniels College of Business?
I live in Denver so the location was attractive, and the format of the program, the fact that I can work while pursuing the PhD, was the kicker.
What are your career goals or dream job after you complete your PhD?
I already have my dream job, teaching here at DU at the undergraduate level. I think that teaching in the master’s program would be an interesting challenge as well. I want to use my experience in the PhD program to enhance my teaching practice as well as provide our students with an increasingly robust experience here at DU. I believe that completing the PhD here at DU will aid in both of those.
