Jennifer Leitsch
Jennifer Leitsch is adjunct faculty in the Daniels College of Business Denver MBA and Executive MBA programs. She teaches MBA 4446 Advanced Sustainability.
Jennifer is a managing director in the Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice at EY, where she leads engagements focused on ESG strategy, reporting and climate change with clients across a range of industries, including real estate.
Jennifer is the former vice president, corporate responsibility for CBRE, where she was key in advancing their global ESG strategy for seven years. She led all aspects of the company’s nonfinancial reporting and ESG ratings and rankings, as well as the creation of CBRE’s science-based GHG emissions reduction target. Prior to CBRE, Jennifer developed, implemented and reported on ESG strategy and programs at Prologis for five years.
Jennifer is on the board of directors for Global Compact Network USA, the local network chapter of the United Nations Global Compact. She is a member of both the GRI Stakeholder Council and the SASB Standards Advisory Group.
Jennifer has an MBA and MS in Marketing from the University of Colorado Denver and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential holder. She was trained by Al Gore as a Climate Reality Leader. Jennifer was named to the DiversityFIRST Top 50 Corporate Social Responsibility in 2021, Assent Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leaders in 2020 and 2019, and Environment + Energy Leader 100 in 2019.
