Since 2015, Teaching Associate Professor of Marketing Michael Myers has taken students from his marketing, tech and innovation class to South by Southwest (SXSW), the interactive technology festival and conference series in Austin, Texas, to gain firsthand experience and insights into the latest digital marketing trends and practices.
Last year, one of Myers’ students, Kirk Scully (BSBA 2019), captured the following video footage of their SXSW adventure. This year, more than 50 students enrolled in the course and in just a few weeks, the students will make their way to Austin for the event. In the meantime, check out the highlights from 2019:
