Daniels College of Business online MBA ranked by Poets&Quants

The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business was ranked No. 12 in the nation for best online MBA programs in 2022 by Poets&Quants, giving MBA@Denver the top spot in Colorado. No other Colorado programs were ranked. Poets&Quants also ranked MBA@Denver No. 7 in the country for academic experience. The online graduate and undergraduate business education news publication announced its 2022 rankings Nov. 8, 2021.

“We are honored to have our online MBA program, MBA@Denver, be recognized as the top program in Colorado and among the top programs in the nation,” says Daniels Dean Vivek Choudhury. “This ranking reflects our continued effort to deliver an unrivaled student experience that sets our students up for success, whether they are looking to advance in their own organizations or make a change.”

Poets&Quants based its rankings on three core dimensions of online MBA programs: the quality of the incoming students; an assessment by graduates of the MBA experience, both the academic and the extracurricular activities; and career outcomes of a program’s graduates.

“We have made an impressive climb in rankings since this program launched in January 2018,” says Assistant Dean of MBA Programs Carol Johnson. “The MBA@Denver program delivers a very interactive and engaging student experience.”

Unlike many other online MBA programs, the MBA@Denver courses all have a required 90-minute synchronous session each week, affording students the opportunity to interact in a live setting, discuss the asynchronous content and exchange ideas and perspectives with each other and also with a faculty member. In addition, the small class sizes, about 15 people, allow students to quickly build relationships with each other and the faculty, and to learn from one another.
