Why did you choose Daniels

I chose the Daniels College of Business for the quality of its program, the flexibility offered by the PMBA and the dedication shown to/by the alumni network. After I attended the Experience Daniels weekend and got to see firsthand the care and commitment of the faculty/staff, I knew Daniels was the place for me. The level of excellence and sense of community really resonated and made Daniels seem like the perfect fit.

Previous Education

BS in business administration at Auburn University

Pre-Grad School Experience

After graduating from Auburn, I was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. I served on active duty for over 10 years with experience as an intelligence officer, acquisitions officer and ROTC instructor. I still serve in the Air Force Reserves as a program manager. Prior to Daniels, I was a program manager at a small defense contractor, Moog, Inc.

Post Grad School Goal

I’ve discovered that my passion is in the development of others, so I want to pivot from program management to more people-centric roles. My goal post-MBA is to find a position in management consulting or executive coaching.

Hobbies

Skiing! I also love road-tripping around the U.S. to see new national parks and other beautiful places in the outdoors. When I’m not outside, I’m probably watching sports or a good movie!
