Why did you choose Daniels
I chose Daniels for its outstanding reputation and a strong sense of familiarity, given my close connections with senior staff and friends who have spoken highly of the program. The in-person, attendance-based curriculum aligns well with my learning style and fosters a true sense of community. I’ve also been drawn to the incredible stories I’ve heard about the relationships and connections built through the cohort and alumni network, which was something that really resonated with me.
Previous Education
St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine
Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine, Clinical Training
Pre-Grad School Experience:
Before applying to medical school, I spent several years as a level II research assistant in Yale Pediatrics Critical Care, where I conducted genetic screenings related to childhood diseases such as spina bifida. Afterward, I pursued my veterinary degree, splitting my time between the beautiful island of Grenada and Ithaca, New York.
Post Grad School Goal
After completing my MBA, I’m exploring a few different paths for my post-grad career. I’m considering opening my own clinical practice, pursuing a teaching role in veterinary academia or potentially advancing into a C-suite position within my current corporate organization.
Hobbies
Alright, let’s be real—I’m totally hooked on true crime documentaries and reality TV, and I’m not even a little bit sorry about it. But don’t worry, I balance it all out with my “officially Coloradan” activities: biking, hiking and—my new obsession—pickleball. Yes, pickleball. It’s a sport now, and I’m here for it!
