Why did you choose Daniels

I was drawn to the PMBA program for several reasons. One key factor was the ability to customize my degree with a concentration, allowing me to tailor my education to my unique passions and goals. I also appreciated the small class sizes, the focus on student outcomes, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with faculty and my cohort. Additionally, the alumni network was a major appeal. As I work to establish my home and foundation in Denver, building a meaningful network is a priority for me.

Previous Education

BA in mass communication with a concentration in film/TV/video and a minor in psychology from Centenary College of Louisiana.

Pre-Grad School Experience

I am currently a marketing strategist at Ogilvy, a global advertising, marketing and public relations agency. With over five years of combined marketing experience, I specialize in organizational communications and enablement, focusing on change management and employee experience. Prior to Ogilvy, I served a year with AmeriCorps, where I engaged in advocacy work around diverse hiring and recruitment in the media and communication industry in Colorado (which is what brought me to Colorado!).

Post Grad School Goal

I’m incredibly passionate about both early career development and advancing equity within organizations. My long-term goal is to leverage my experience and insights gained through Daniels to build a career coaching and consulting practice focusing on these two areas. I want to empower individuals to navigate their careers with confidence, help organizations create more inclusive environments, and ultimately drive positive change that resonates beyond the workplace, positively influencing the broader communities and society they serve. I’m also open to seeing where my MBA journey takes me, as new passions and opportunities may arise along the way!

Hobbies

I love karaoke, going to comedy shows and open-mic nights, playing board games, and disc golfing with my partner and fur baby.
