Washington Park

Most people call it simply “Wash Park,” and it’s a perennially popular spot for outdoor activities like volleyball, cycling, jogging and kayaking on the lake. Website

Chipotle Mexican Grill

The fast-casual Mexican grill can now be found internationally, but it all started here. The original location is just a few blocks from campus and there are dozens of others throughout town. Website

Need a quick bite? Come to this retro fast-serve counter for a Chicago-style hot dog and other comfort food. Website

Saucy's Southern BBQ

Enjoy ribs, wings, and hot links at this Nasville-style barbecue located within a short walk from campus. Website

This great breakfast/brunch spot is near campus (with another location near the State Capitol). The donut bites are to die for and even come in a gluten-free option. Website
