Nick Machol

Biography at a Glance

Nick Machol (MAcc 2008, BAcc 2008) is a professional investor, executive, board member and advisor. He serves as the president and COO of Blue Chip Services, providing an all-encompassing ownership experience through world-class care and service for automotive collectors.

Prior to Blue Chip, he was the third-generation family leader and chief executive officer of Machol & Johannes, LLC, up until the firm’s exit transaction in late 2021. The firm had offices in eight states, substantial back-office operations overseas and nearly 200 domestic employees.

He was born in Colorado and he graduated in 2008 magna cum laude from the University of Denver. He started his career with Ernst & Young and became a licensed CPA (currently inactive) before joining and scaling the family business in an executive capacity. He successfully guided, transformed and grew the business through an era of rapid consolidation and regulatory change.

Nick fills his additional professional time with board service, real estate investing, energy investing and volunteer work. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
