Monica Power

Biography at a Glance

Monica Power is a financial audit manager at the Colorado Office of the State Auditor. She manages several State department financial audits and co-manages the State’s annual CAFR audit. Prior to joining the State Auditor’s Office in 2016, Monica spent 11 years at EKS&H (now Plante Moran) as a financial auditor.

Monica is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of both the AICPA and Colorado Society of CPAs, and an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She currently serves on the National State Auditors Association’s Audit Standards & Reporting and Single Audit Committees. Monica is a Colorado native and resides in Englewood with her husband Ryan.
