Matt Schuler

Matt Schuler is a general superintendent at Hensel Phelps. As a member of the executive team, Matt leads numerous teams in project procurement and execution.

Throughout his tenure at Hensel Phelps, Matt has procured, planned and constructed commercial properties in aerospace, aviation, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, mission critical, manufacturing, civil, civic, research/laboratories and retail exceeding $3 billion and 7 million square feet. He is responsible for overall project delivery, client and trade partner relationships, and forecasting and managing major obstacles, along with ensuring efficiency and safety in the field. As an integral leader in construction, Matt has served on the Board of Directors of the Construction Industry Training Council and worked with trade organizations along the Front Range of Colorado to grow a workforce pipeline for the industry.

Matt is focused on perpetual improvement, helping others transcend their current abilities, honesty and the growth of high-performing professionals.

Matt is a graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. After graduating from Colorado State University in 1996, Matt joined Hensel Phelps and worked up to his senior leadership position today. He resides in northern Colorado with his family and enjoys fitness, outdoor activities and aviation.
