Eamon Twomey
Biography at a Glance
Eamon Twomey (MBA 2011) is responsible for several areas in Operational Services which include audit and risk functions, document control and onboarding clients. He joined the operational services organization in April 2017.
Before his current role, Twomey was a vice president in both the institutional and retail organizations at Charles Schwab. As a leader in the Schwab Advisor Services organization, Twomey was part of Advisor Services leadership in Denver and led various segments and teams supporting advisor transition services, organizational readiness, and advisor custody & trading support within the organization. In the retail organization, he was responsible for leadership of client service & support, trade support group, derivatives, IPO/MF Load, advanced technical support and optionsXpress service and trading teams.
Prior to Schwab, Twomey was chief operating officer (COO) of The Hartford Broker Dealers where he had responsibility for defining operational processes and controls that support the requirements in the Wealth Management broker dealers and was a senior officer of Curian Capital, a registered investment advisory firm and a subsidiary of Jackson National Life, where he oversaw all of the operations of over 100,000 accounts and $10B in assets.
Twomey holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Marist College in New York and an Executive MBA degree from the University of Denver. He serves on the Daniels Executive Advisory Board at the University of Denver (DU) and is an adjunct professor at the Daniels College of Business at DU. Twomey is also a board member of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Singapore. He also holds FINRA licenses 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 24, 27, 53, 55, 63 and 99.
