David Reuss brings over 10 years of experience in fine dining and wine education to his teaching role at DU. He began his career at the Michelin-starred Frasca Food and Wine, moved on to become wine director at Shanahan’s Steakhouse, and finally joined Jackson Family Wines as national education director in 2023. But throughout each role over the past decade, teaching and mentorship has remained his most passionate focus, and he couldn’t be more excited to share his love of wine with DU students.

David has passed both the Master Sommelier theory exam and service exam twice, with plans to complete his MS diploma in September 2025.
