Biography at a Glance

Claudia Alvarado serves as a senior analytics manager on the financial performance team at STR. Having joined the company in 2015, Claudia’s roles span statistical analysis, data visualization, monthly P&L forecast methodology and ensuring data quality for online products. Her research contributions are vast, touching on topics like hotel profitability, labor cost trends, brand conversion dynamics and the hospitality sector’s response to natural disasters and significant events.

Claudia completed her education at the University of Denver, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and later, a Master of Science in Business Analytics. Prior to her master’s program, Claudia garnered hands-on experience in hotel operations, taking on roles in HR, housekeeping and meeting planning.
