Biography at a Glance

Goosecross Cellars is a Napa Valley boutique winery that was first purchased by the Coors Family in May of 2013. When looking for a career change from the family beer business, Christi (MBA 2002) chose to follow a passion for wine that she and her husband have had for over 10 years. She saw a little gem at Goosecross and she knew her skills in sales and marketing could help this company grow both in sales and in profits. Her goals include growing the Goosecross brand, adding additional wineries and vineyards to the AC Vin Co portfolio, and creating a culture of hard work and lots of play across the winery. Although managing a winery is new to Christi, her past work ethic and experience is already paying off at Goosecross.

Prior to purchasing Goosecross Cellars, Christi worked for 14 years at Coors Brewing Company (now Molson Coors Beverage Company) in sales and marketing roles. She worked with the distribution network and the retailers across the country, and in her last role, she managed the On Premise business. Her past experience will allow her to take the “big business” planning and structure to a small business without losing her entrepreneurial spirit.

In 2021, Christi and her husband Dave purchased Goosecross Cellars from her family office to become full owners of the business. The two of them together have plans and dreams to make Goosecross into a lasting family legacy to pass down to their children. 

Before she went to work for the family beer business, Christi worked for E&J Gallo Wine company in Northern California. In this role she worked in both sales and marketing roles. Her time at Gallo really started her love and passion for wine and the wine industry.

Christi also served as a director on the Molson Coors board of directors. She was deeply engaged with the M&A activity that took place during her tenure.

She also serves on the Board of Regents at Santa Clara University and on the board of directors for the Napa Valley Chamber of Commerce.  When not working, Christi enjoys time with her two children, Luke and Lucy, as well as dedicating her time to charitable organizations including Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 

Christi received her undergraduate degree in Marketing and Family Business Management from Santa Clara University and her MBA from the University of Denver.
