Chris Schmidt

Biography at a Glance

Chris is the managing partner for the Denver office at Deloitte Consulting, LLP. He is responsible for driving client and business growth, facilitating cross-functional teaming, and further enhancing strategic positioning in the Denver market. In his more than 20-year career with Deloitte, he has witnessed the Colorado practice grow from 200 professionals to over 1,300 across four offices.

As a growth-oriented partner, Chris most recently served as the global lead consulting partner for a global oil and gas supermajor for six years. He has held various roles of increasing responsibility within the consulting function and in leading account teams. His primary focus has been on finance transformation and helping to improve the chief financial officer organization through process improvement, finance systems and digital innovation.
