Cathy Milkey


Cathy Milkey, JD, is vice president and general counsel at a group of private companies and nonprofit foundations. She is also an affiliate professor in the MBA@​Denver program specializing in leadership.

Prior to working in-house, Cathy began her legal career at Holland & Hart LLP in Denver, and she has been an attorney for over 15 years. In addition to her legal and business roles, Cathy is a teacher at heart and a trained life coach. She has taught leadership, business law, ethics and contracts to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Denver. She graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a double major in mathematics and psychology.
