Rachel Lee recently accepted an internship with Triad Tax. She utilized her Daniels Careers account to help her find opportunities. “I met with Toni and got started on submitting my résumé to a handful of places that I found through the Daniels Careers site, and even the DU Job Board. She helped me with advice on a cover letter, along with how to even find where these internship opportunities are located.”
Rachel first decided a career in accounting was for her after taking a few accounting courses. “The secondary admissions process for Daniels also helped me create a résumé that is presentable, along with a cover letter and proper skills to a successful interview.”
Rachel says, “don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. Send out your résumé. I probably filled out 50 applications. You’ll never get a job you don’t apply for.”
