If you’re an undergraduate student at Daniels, you probably know Alexa Dunnigan. Even if you haven’t met her, you’ve benefited from her leadership and dedication to the people at the Daniels College of Business. A senior marketing major, Alexa jumped into leadership roles early in her academic career and has effected positive change ever since. She recently put her marketing accumen to work marketing the student-run Heart Strings Fashion Show benefitting the American Heart Association, which sold over 200 tickets. Alexa was a key voice in the development of the Daniels Pioneer initiative and was instrumental in spreading the word to senior students to participate in the BusinessWeek undergraduate ranking survey.
Marketing professor Greg Wagner nominated Alexa saying that “she’s one of the more involved students on campus, an excellent student who also takes the time to serve on some of the Dan’s student committees. In addition to representing Daniels undergraduates in the Undergraduate Business Student Association, she’s successfully participated in several internships and has a great “can do” pioneer spirit.”
