Welcome to all of our undergraduate and graduate students

The fall 2020 quarter has presented Daniels students, faculty and staff with unprecedented circumstances, but it has also showcased the resilience and strength of the Daniels community—a community that continues to grow. We’re excited to welcome each and every student to the Daniels College of Business this fall, whether they’re joining us virtually or in person (or, in many cases, both).

Undergraduate Students
While many of our more than 400 undergrads are coming to Daniels from here in Colorado, the fall 2020 class represents a total of 40 different U.S. states. Plus, we’re thrilled to have 28 international students from 18 countries starting this fall, as well.

About 12% of this class are first-generation students and 24% are students of color. Finance and marketing are the most commonly declared majors. But as students take classes and explore their interests, we expect many of them to change their majors multiple times.

Graduate Students

This fall, Daniels has more than 300 new graduate students, who are coming to us from 29 U.S. states. About 9% of the incoming graduate population are international students, representing 16 countries.

Most of our graduate students come to us with a business and economics major in undergraduate school, but they’re also bringing a variety of academic backgrounds to Daniels:

Executive PhD Students

From everyone at Daniels, congratulations to all of our new students! We’re excited to have you in the Daniels community and to help you grow in your education and career.
