2017 Elevate Ethics Panel
The Institute for Enterprise Ethics at the Daniels College of Business hosts the fifth annual “Elevate Ethics: Ethical Leadership in American Business – A Dialogue” Wednesday, April 18, at 5 p.m. in the Reiman Theater in Margery Reed Hall at the University of Denver.
Three executives will share experiences from their careers and companies. Panelists include David Eves, executive vice president, group president-utilities and president of Xcel Energy – Colorado; Nancy Buese, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Newmont Mining; and Peter Lorenzen, general manager of global technology services, networking for IBM.
“These three individuals offer a wealth of knowledge and perspective on the state of business ethics and integrity from three different industries in today’s business world. Rarely does the general public have the opportunity to hear senior business executives discuss their thoughts on the current state of ethics in their world,” says Dan Sweeney, director of the Institute for Enterprise Ethics. “That’s why the Institute for Enterprise Ethics began hosting Elevate Ethics five years ago. These executives’ candid and frank remarks provide a look into their world seldom seen by the community and society they serve.”
The panel will be moderated by Doug Scrivner, chairman of the University of Denver board of trustees and former general counsel for Accenture.
The event is open to the University of Denver community and the public.
