Lily Morse (PhD Carnegie Mellon University) is an assistant professor of management at the Daniels College of Business. Before joining Daniels in 2024, she was a faculty member at West Virginia University. She has also served as a visiting assistant professor at Boston College and postdoctoral associate at the University of Notre Dame.

Lily’s research focuses on pressing ethical issues faced by organizations, including how to manage AI responsibly. She explores the gap between how technology performs and how fairly it’s perceived–and how managers can bridge that gap. Her work provides both theoretical insights and practical guidance for navigating the ethical complexities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Her research has been published in leading journals including Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, MIS Quarterly, Nature Machine Intelligence, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

Lily currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on negotiation and organizational behavior. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new places in Denver and beyond, getting lost in a good book, playing volleyball, and spoiling her rescue dog.
