Feb. 18, 2026
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the University of Denver for our first Roundtable Luncheon of 2026. The session, led by Elizabeth Ledoux and Andrea Carpenter of The Transition Strategists, offered practical and thoughtful guidance for family businesses and family offices navigating generational transitions throughout Colorado.
Participants explored the six essential transformations that shape every family business transition: Role, Vision, Power, Relationships, Purpose, and Legacy. Elizabeth and Andrea shared accessible frameworks that helped attendees identify where they and their family members may be in the transition journey, along with tools for beginning supportive and meaningful conversations around leadership change.
The room brought together founders, next generation leaders, family office professionals, and advisors from across the state. The discussion centered on long term continuity, communication, and the personal evolution that must accompany business change.
Looking Ahead: A New Partnership to Support Colorado Family Enterprises
For those who wanted to go deeper, or for those who were unable to attend, The Bailey Program is partnering again with The Transition Strategists this May for a two day immersive workshop at their property in Fort Collins titled Transition Compass. This workshop is designed for Colorado family businesses, multigenerational enterprises, and family office teams seeking expert guidance and hands on support as they plan for upcoming transitions.
We are grateful to everyone who participated in this important conversation. The Bailey Program for Family Enterprise looks forward to continuing to support family enterprises across Colorado through education, connection, and community.
