Why did you choose Daniels

As someone who was looking to make a career pivot and as a recent transplant to Colorado, I was drawn to the Daniels College of Business because of its strong alumni network and its practical, real-world approach to education.

Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida

Pre-Grad School Experience

Before attending graduate school, I spent many years working in the tech industry, managing sales and operations teams at Apple and several other startups. As a complimentary step to co-founding my own software company in the short-term rental space, I decided to get my real estate license. Market conditions naturally lead me to spend the last five years running a residential real estate business in Florida, but after making the move to Colorado, I decided I wanted to expand my knowledge and experience in the real estate industry, leading me to pursue a master’s in real estate and the built environment.

Post Grad School Goal

Because the MS REBE program has focuses in several key areas of the real estate industry, I thought it would be the perfect way to explore various career avenues and truly find what best suits my skills and interests. I look forward to building on the experience I have as a realtor and transitioning into an opportunity where I can be both creative and impact strategic growth for larger businesses in the industry.

Hobbies

I enjoy many hobbies, including skiing, hiking, tennis, golf, traveling internationally, attending live music events, reading and art, both as a patron and an amateur painter.
