Paul R. Harrison, CPA/PFS, CFP, is an associate teaching professor with the University of Denver and a principal in Paul R. Harrison, CPA. P.C. Mr. Harrison facilitates Continuing Professional Education (CPE) in behavioral ethics for the Colorado Society of CPAs. He has also taught at the University of Washington and the Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Professor Harrison received a BA degree in Economics from Hartwick College in NY, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a Master of Taxation at the University of Denver. Mr. Harrison is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Colorado. He also is a Certified Financial Planner professional and Personal Financial Specialist as well as having completed the Ethical Leadership Training and Certification Program with the Center for Public Trust.

Professor Harrison instructs in the areas of finance, ethics, and taxation at the undergraduate, graduate and continuing professional education levels. His recent teaching assignments include: FIN 2800 Financial Decision Making, FIN 3030/4030 Personal Finance, FIN 3060/4060 Life Cycle – Financial Planning, FIN 4110 Ethics in Finance, TAX 4255 Ethics and Professionalism, and TAX 4000 Fundamentals of Taxation. Previous teaching assignments include: FIN 3090/4090 Wealth Management, ACTG 3660 Business and Investment Taxation, BBUS450 Federal Income Tax, ACC 2010 Principles of Accounting I, ACC 4440 Ethics in Accounting, ACC 5000 Accounting Ethics and Leadership, BUS Global Corporate Social Responsibility, ACTG 3220 Understanding Financial Statements, and FIN 3090 Topics in Wealth Management.
