Why did you choose Daniels?
The Executive MBA program at Daniels is truly one of a kind. The experiential learning opportunities, particularly the Sailing Challenge and global travel program, first captured my interest, but the fact that it is the only fully in-person Executive MBA program offered in Colorado is what ultimately reeled me in. The networking opportunities and depth of knowledge within the cohort are as valuable as any course material, and the Daniels Executive MBA alumni network is remarkably active and supportive. Program staff readily connect students with alumni who are eager to share their insights and experience.
Previous Education
BS in zoology and a minor in natural resources management from The Ohio State University. MS in biology from East Carolina University.
Pre-Grad School Experience
I have been an environmental consultant for 11 years with increasing levels of leadership responsibility. I am currently a senior programs manager for CONUS environmental pursuits and lead our Colorado office.
Post Grad School Goal
After completing my MBA, I aim to leverage my new network and enhanced strategic, financial and leadership skills to take on broader responsibilities that drive meaningful growth and innovation. I am passionate about building teams and initiatives that make a lasting difference by applying an entrepreneurial mindset to uncover new opportunities, craft creative solutions and create sustainable value for people, organizations and communities.
Hobbies
Outside of work and school, I love spending time outdoors rock climbing, hiking, skiing and exploring the mountains. I’m also an avid gamer and board game enthusiast who enjoys a good D&D campaign when I can gather a group and have the time!
