Noelle Gantz

As a CPA licensed in CO, OR, CA and NY, Noelle brings an impressive portfolio of multi-disciplinary experience to her adjunct role.

She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Stetson University, majoring in International Business and minoring in Spanish, having studied in Madrid, Spain, for a semester. During this time she was a 4-year starter for the Division 1 Women’s Soccer team and graduated cum laude. After graduation, she worked as a close-the-books accountant at a national commercial construction firm while gaining an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. Having completed the CPA exam, she then moved into public accounting by joining Ernst & Young LLP (EY), a global Big 4 Public Accounting firm. During her 10-year tenure at EY, she led attest and audit engagements for the most recognized global brands in fintech and healthcare related to SOX ITGCs, SOC 1/2/3 attestations and SOX business process audits. As an IT audit leader, she served on the regional performance management committees and various executive teams, and fostered community dialog by leading industry forums for IT execs and other various speaking and teaching engagements.

Currently, she is the owner and managing director of Modern Assurance LLC, a tech-first security compliance auditing firm that specializes in providing IT and security-related attest services to businesses globally. The firm was designed from inception to apply the principles of lean manufacturing to the professional services industry, ensuring the highest-quality audit possible at the least expense and headache to clients. Noelle is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), demonstrating a holistic and deep understanding of cybersecurity risks and methods.

Today, to give back to the accounting and auditing community, she also provides consulting and hands-on help to up-and-coming CPA firms and IT consulting firms who are looking to expand into attest or security compliance service lines. She is a contributing author and speaker to various accounting texts and academic groups. She can also be spotted outdoors skiing, hiking, rollerblading or coaching youth soccer teams.
