Nick Machol

Trainer, Professional Investor and Retired Executive
Executive Advisory Board Chair

Portrait of Nick Machol, Executive Advisory Board Chair at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver.

Nick Machol (BAcc 2008, MAcc 2008) is a trainer, professional investor, retired executive, board member and advisor.

Nick Machol built, scaled, and sold companies—retiring young before jumping back in to teach and invest. Now, he’s a top AI trainer, delivering no-nonsense workshops that drive real change. Leaders don’t hire him for theory; they hire him for results.

He chairs the Executive Advisory Board at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and has been a board member since 2016. He also manages a diverse real estate portfolio and stays deeply engaged in YPO.

Previously, Nick was CEO of Machol & Johannes, leading its expansion to eight states and 250+ employees before a successful exit. He also advised a concierge automotive services business as president and COO.

A Colorado native and DU grad (magna cum laude), Nick started at Ernst & Young as a CPA (inactive). When he’s not leading, training or investing, he’s skiing, traveling and enjoying family time.
