Madhumita Das

Madhumita Das, who goes by Madhu, started her lifelong commitment to the software industry in 1995 as a software developer, but with her passion for quality assurance, she moved to the quality assurance and engineering arena in 1998. For nearly three decades, she has worked in a variety of roles including software developer, tester, manager, agile enabler and in senior leadership positions driving quality strategies, initiatives, innovation and building cross functional teams in the United States and globally. Her focus was and is on quality engineering that covered various aspects of testing with a focus on automation, quality metrics and more recently, AI and leveraging it for automated testing. She has worked at senior leadership positions with Century Link (previously Qwest Communications) and Pearson. She is currently VP, OCIO quality engineering at Empower, a financial services company specializing in retirement planning, investment management and comprehensive wealth management.

Madhu has an engineering degree in computer science from Bangalore University, India. Her other passions are cooking and Bollywood dancing. She lives in Highlands Ranch, CO with her husband, daughter and their golden doodle.
