Why did you choose Daniels

I chose Daniels because of its hands-on, experiential approach to learning and its emphasis on ethical leadership. My interest was piqued when I learned that the program also included real-world business experiences like the global trip, Race & Case, and other experiential learning like the Mendoza Winery Consulting experience. Daniels’ focus on innovation, leadership and impact aligns perfectly with my career goals in marketing and strategy. I also really value the sense of community within Daniels—faculty and peers alike seem genuinely invested in each other’s success.

Previous Education

BS in business administration, concentration in leadership from Babson College

Pre-Grad School Experience

Before starting at Daniels, I spent nearly a decade in marketing—most recently building martech capabilities for performance media and creative strategy teams for USAA. Before USAA I also led a team of about 10 phenomenal people at a marketing agency where we supported about $50M in advertising spend on social channels.

Post Grad School Goal

After earning my MBA, my goal is to continue advancing into senior marketing and strategy leadership roles—ultimately working toward becoming a chief marketing officer. I want to use the strategic and leadership skills gained at Daniels to influence how brands make decisions, lead teams with empathy and connect creative vision with business performance.

Hobbies

I recently got married—fun fact, my husband’s name is also Hunter! We love discovering new restaurants on dinner dates or spending evenings playing tabletop games like Marvel Champions. Outside of school, I volunteer as a master gardener for Douglas County, so when I’m not studying, you can usually find me in the dirt with kids. I’m also a passionate dog foster advocate—over the past eight years, I’ve fostered 13 dogs and ended up adopting my seventh foster, a sweet pup named Sweet Pea.
