Daniels is in The Business of Better Business

The Daniels College of Business has launched a new brand awareness campaign, putting a clear label on the tangible and intangible things that set the institution apart.

The Daniels Effect is the business of better business—a promise of preparation for the future, an assurance of lifelong support and a commitment to doing the right thing. It touches every corner of the College’s ecosystem: students, faculty, staff, alumni, corporate partners. It’s the kind of impact you feel before you can measure it.

The Daniels Effect in Action

Daniels students and alumni are focused on the future.

MBA students and alumni have devoted countless hours to a long-term mentoring program that ensures high-achieving, low-income high schoolers reach their full potential.

Classes have immediate applicability and long-term implications.

Locke + Co. Distilling produces whiskey that supports DU and the surrounding community. Its founders developed their successful business plan in their MBA classes.

Daniels graduates remember where they came from.

Daniels students and alumni power Mountain Crust Pizza, a company created by finance graduate Ryan McLean, who always looks to his alma mater for quality employees.

Daniels is invested in your success, through your entire career.

All Daniels alumni have access to the Daniels Career Services team for life. Polish your resume, prep for job interviews and plug in to the Daniels alumni network.

Immersive hands-on experiences build lifelong memories and skills.

Study abroad and global experiences place students in unfamiliar, sometimes uncomfortable settings that foster unmatched personal and professional growth.

Daniels provides space to create, innovate and launch big ideas.

The startup Chennelle Diong built through Entrepreneurship@DU’s summer accelerator got a big boost and big investment from an appearance on Shark Tank.

Daniels cares about the greater good and the community.

The Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management executive certificate in affordable housing supports those taking on one of the country’s biggest challenges.

Proud alumni pay it forward to current students.

Executive MBA alumni Kirk Roberts and Carl Mittleman , sponsor corporate and global challenge projects for MBA students through their companies, Bona and Aramark.
