Todd Thesing

Todd Thesing and Rob McRae cofounded Highline Partners in 2007. Highline Partners had a clear vision: build exceptional homes in the mountain environments they love while creating opportunities for a talented team that shares passion for the outdoors. From humble beginnings, Highline has evolved into one of southwest Montana’s highest quality and trusted builders while also being a generous employer.

Highly driven and creative-minded, Todd loves working on teams of motivated individuals, and mentoring people as they lean into new skillsets to achieve incredible things in both work and life. Todd loves to experience and share the adventurous mountain lifestyle found in Montana. In the winters, he is climbing ice in Hyalite, chasing elk with a bow and skiing powder accessed from backcountry huts, Bridger Bowl or the Lone Peak tram. In the summers, Todd enjoys fly fishing, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and rafting with his family and friends. Community-minded, he volunteered for the Gallatin County Search and Rescue Helicopter and Alpine teams for many years, has coached youth lacrosse and volunteered on lacrosse and other nonprofit boards. Todd and his wife Rachel have two dogs, a cat and two sons, Owen and Aiden, who are at University of Virgina and Cal Poly respectively.
