Why did you choose Daniels

Daniels College of Business is the best graduate school for my educational, personal and career development. Daniels is full of excellent relationships (from the professors to staff and students) and resources for my long-term career development goals of reshaping and redirecting my career path into the right perspective in accountancy and technology, where I’m in control in charting a CPA path or landing into consultancy.

Previous Education

Bachelor of science in management information systems from Ashesi University, Ghana

Pre-Grad School Experience

After graduating from Ashesi University, I took part in the Barclays Pan-African Graduate Leadership Development Programme hosted in South Africa and Mauritius, managed by Duke University Corporate Education, which equipped me with technical skills in banking-related risk management, finance, innovation, project management and leadership skills, that landed me a permanent position in the credit risk team at Barclays Bank Ghana, where I worked as a corporate credit manager for six years. I also worked as the coverage banker with Absa Bank Ghana, responsible for managing relationships with financial institutions (FIs) and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), for close to six years. I successfully grew Absa Ghana’s FI portfolio from less than $20 million to over $100 million yearly trade volumes, and increased profitability by over 300% from 2019 to June 2024.

Post Grad School Goal

To pursue my CPA path to work with top accountancy and technology firms to gain much experience to set up my own accountancy or consultancy firm in the near future.
