Sarah Sandberg
Sarah Sandberg is the vice president of strategic initiatives for Tallgrass Energy, a midstream company leading new energy solutions within the industry. Previously, she was the head of sustainability and external affairs for PDC Energy and the vice president of sustainability and energy transition for DCP Midstream, a Fortune 500 energy company that was acquired by Phillips 66. Prior to her sustainability focused efforts, Sarah led DCP’s investor relations, non-op joint ventures, external and internal communications, and community outreach and investment. She previously served as the chief operating officer for the Colorado Oil & Gas Association and the marketing director and a founding executive management team member of GoAuto Insurance, and managed communications and outreach within the Louisiana Governor’s Office, including assisting with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response efforts and several hurricanes.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Master’s of Business Administration through the Executive MBA program at University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. She is a proud co-founder and board member of The Energy Leadership, an executive board member of the American Red Cross, Mile High Chapter, and an executive committee member of the Denver Metro Economic Development Corporation.
