Paula A. Holt

Paula A. Holt teaches as a full teaching professor in the Department of Business Ethics and Legal Studies in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Paula currently teaches in the undergraduate program in courses such as: the Foundations of Business Law, Contract Law, Negotiations and Conflict Resolution, and Ethics in Entrepreneurship. She also teaches in the graduate programs DMBA and EMBA Business Law and Public Policy courses.

Paula also has a litigation, mediation and appellate law practice in the Denver metro area. As a mediator, Paula enjoys facilitating resolution of cases through an amicable process that reduces the stress and costs of litigation. Paula began practicing after clerking for First Judicial District Court Judges the Honorable Randall C. Arp and Honorable Jack W. Berryhill. This valuable behind-the-scenes look into court process allows Paula to effectively represent a variety of disputes, and bring that experience to the classroom for real world application of legal concepts. Paula has been awarded the 1st Judicial District Outstanding Young Lawyer award, has been listed as a Super Lawyer and Rising Star among the Colorado Super Lawyers, and has been listed among Best Lawyers.
