Why did you choose Daniels?
I chose Daniels because of its strong emphasis on experiential learning, the close-knit cohort model and the Denver-based network. The smaller class sizes create a more personalized, discussion-driven learning environment, which I really enjoy. The business challenges and hands-on projects give us real-world experience that we can talk about with future employers. On top of that, the alumni network is incredibly supportive and successful, with many of them having stayed in Denver. Since I want to stay here, that connection to the local business community was a big draw for me.
Previous Education
BS in aeronautics from University of North Dakota, majoring in air traffic control and minoring in atmospheric sciences.
Pre-Grad School Experience
Before starting my MBA, I spent over a decade as a certified professional air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration.
Post Grad School Goal
After graduation, my goal is to transition from air traffic control into a business leadership role where I can combine my operational experience with the strategic skills I’m developing at Daniels. I’m especially interested in opportunities in consulting and corporate strategy, where I can help organizations improve efficiency, manage complexity and grow.
Hobbies
Outside of school, I love taking advantage of everything in Colorado like skiing, hiking and camping. I’m also a big sports fan and enjoy playing hockey and volleyball and am a huge F1 fan.
