Profile

Jung received his PhD in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from UT Dallas and won best dissertation awards from major academic conferences. His research interests include strategic management of intellectual property rights and technology-based entrepreneurship, with particular emphasis on value capture and creation strategies as well as the economics of entrepreneurship. Jung develops theoretical frameworks for organizational and entrepreneurial economics that address societal challenges. He has lead-authored a research paper in Organization Science, as well as others that are currently under review. Currently, Jung serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Business Venturing and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, both peer-reviewed academic research journals.

Jung has various industry experiences including the UN and multinational enterprises. Moreover, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army as a sergeant with the Army Commendation Medal.
