Executive Advisory Board
Christi Coors Ficeli

Biography at a Glance

Goosecross Cellars, owned by AC Vin Co, is a Napa Valley Boutique winery that was purchased by the Coors Family in May of 2013. When looking for a career change from the family beer business, Christi (MBA 2002) chose to follow a passion for wine that she and her husband have had for over 10 years. She saw a little gem at Goosecross and she knew her skills in sales and marketing could help this company grow both in sales and in profits. Her goals include growing the Goosecross brand, adding additional wineries and vineyards to the AC Vin Co portfolio, and creating a culture of hard work and lots of play across the winery. Although managing a winery is new to Christi, her past work ethic and experience is already paying off at Goosecross.

Prior to purchasing Goosecross Cellars, Christi worked for 14 years at Coors Brewing Company (now MillerCoors) in Sales and Marketing roles. She worked with the distribution network, the retailers across the country, and in her last role, she managed the On Premise business. Her past experience will allow her to take the “big business” planning and structure to a small business without losing her entrepreneurial spirit.

Before she went to work for the family beer business, Christi worked for E&J Gallo Wine company in Northern California. In this role she worked in both sales and marketing roles. Her time at Gallo really started her love and passion for wine and the wine industry.

Christi also served as a director on the Molson Coors board of directors. She was deeply engaged with the M&A activity that has taken place over the past 4 years and continues to help guide the progress and growth of the company.

She also serves as a Trustee for her family office, on the Board of Regents at Santa Clara University, and on the board of directors for the Napa Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Christi received her undergraduate degree in Marketing and Family Business Management from Santa Clara University and her MBA from University of Denver.
