Brent Phillip is a senior marketing, brand and growth executive with deep experience scaling restaurant and consumer brands through data-driven strategy, financial rigor and high-impact brand execution. He currently serves as head of strategic growth initiatives at Birdcall, where he leads market expansion, strategic partnerships and non-traditional growth channels, and is the founder of Darkhorse Projects, a consulting firm supporting emerging food and beverage brands with growth strategy and go-to-market execution. With experience as the chief marketing officer at Birdcall and REGO Restaurant Group, Brent has overseen brand strategy, advertising, product innovation, pricing, loyalty and marketing analytics across multi-brand, multi-national portfolios.

Earlier in his career, Brent held leadership roles including vice president of marketing and digital experience at REGO Restaurant Group and brand leader for Taco Del Mar, driving omni-channel campaigns, franchisee growth and double-digit year-over-year sales gains. His background also includes strategy and analytics roles at QDOBA, where he focused on KPI reporting, marketing ROI analysis and financial performance optimization in partnership with executive leadership. A 2015 alumnus of the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, Brent was recognized in 2025 with the University of Denver, Marketing Department Distinguished Alumni, Emerging Leader Award for his professional impact and leadership.
