Andrea Wescott

Oil and Gas Executive
Executive Advisory Board

Andrea Wescott Passman is an oil and gas executive with over 27 years of experience in energy. She often gets the call to action when investors want free cash flow, to execute turnarounds and strategic shifts to drive growth. Most recently, she served as chief operating officer of Aethon Energy, the largest private natural gas company in North America, where she drove the company to free cash flow. Before Aethon, she was also the chief operating officer of Caerus Oil and Gas, which successfully exited in a private sale of the company.

Andrea’s breadth of experience has taken her from multiple shale basins, offshore and internationally, as an executive with CNX Resources, and with leadership positions at Halliburton and Schlumberger.

A true pioneer born and raised in Alaska, Andrea was recruited away from her family gold mine by the Colorado School of Mines where she received her bachelor of science degree in Petroleum Engineering. In addition, she holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Denver. Andrea is proud to serve on the Colorado School of Mines Foundation Board of Governors.
