Biography at a Glance

Ana Babic Rosario, PhD, is assistant professor of marketing at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver. She has received university-wide and international fellowships and grants and has been recognized for her research and teaching efforts. She has consulted with Comcast and teaches courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs, including Introduction to Marketing and Marketing Research.

Her research centers on technology-enabled communication and consumption, including electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and social media, as well as consumer nostalgia. Her work has been published in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and the Routledge’s “Food and Experiential Marketing: Pleasure, Wellbeing, and Consumption” book, and presented at leading marketing conferences, including Association for Consumer Research (ACR), European ACR, INFORMS Marketing Science, European Marketing Academy Conference (EMAC), Consumer Culture Theory (CCT), JAMS Thought Leaders’ Conference, and the Competitive Advantage in the Digital Economy (CADE) Forum. She serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and International Journal of Research in Marketing, as well as ad hoc reviewer for other leading marketing and consumer research journals, such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Interactive Marketing, and Journal of Business Research.
