Biography at a Glance
Alvin McBorrough is the leading authority on strategy, organizational performance, business success and innovation. In this capacity he advises organizations in the private and public sectors, which makes him an acclaimed keynote speaker, consultant, researcher and teacher. McBorrough is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at OMNI Consulting Group, a management and technology-consulting firm that helps leading companies develop and implement growth strategies, improve operations and capitalize on technology to achieving growth targets, increase revenues, and improve profit margins with greater speed, predictability and control.
Prior to co-founding OMNI Consulting Group, McBorrough held various management roles with Cisco Systems for five years. At Cisco, he directed and led many large clients’ initiatives including Cloud Computing, Virtualized Data Centers, Server Consolidation, Mobility and Network Deployments. Earlier in his career, Alvin gained extensive experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business process optimization and operational excellence with Level 3 Communications, TouchPoint Consulting, Comcast, AT&T, The Government of Liberia and British Telecom (BT).
McBorrough also lectures on strategic and business planning through the Founders Institute and the Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute, a pro bono organization that provides learning, lending and coaching to grow Community Entrepreneurs who build businesses to advance along the pathway to self-sufficiency and self-worth.
