Biography at a Glance

Dr. Adam Greiner joined the Daniels College of Business in September 2013 after completing his Ph.D. in accounting at Florida Atlantic University. His research examines managers’ discretionary choices relevant to standard setters, auditors, and the capital markets.  Before entering the doctoral program, he worked at a regional public accounting firm as a senior auditor and in the Corporate Accounting and Reporting division at Wachovia Corporation. His primary teaching interests include intermediate and advanced financial accounting courses. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina and a member of the American Accounting Association, the AICPA, Beta Alpha Psi, Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma.
