What has been your favorite DU moment?

My favorite DU moment was the DU National Championship in 2024.

What is a piece of media you’d recommend to other students?

My all-time favorite movie is Just Go with It. Whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, I watch it, and it never fails to make me laugh and lift my spirits.

My favorite finance book is The Psychology of Money, which is about the emotional and behavioral aspects that impact financial decisions. It highlights how our attitudes toward money can significantly shape our financial outcomes over time.

What is your favorite way to get involved on campus?

I recommend joining as many organizations as possible at the start—it helps you discover what you’re passionate about and, just as importantly, how you want to spend your free time. On campus, I’m involved with the Finance Club, the business fraternity (Delta Sigma Pi), and a sorority (Alpha Phi). Off campus, I have an internship with UBS, where I work throughout the school year and summer. Balancing these activities has allowed me to make the most of my time while also ensuring I maintain a healthy balance between my commitments and spending time with friends and peers.

What is your favorite place to relax?

Whenever I have the chance, I love taking walks, and my favorite spot to unwind is Wash Park.

What is your favorite campus event to attend?

I have been apart of the Finance Club since I came to DU. I have really enjoy being part of the club and it has had such a positive impact on my experience at DU. Now being the president, I love giving back to students by creating similar opportunities for them to grow, learn, and expand their networks in finance. It’s rewarding to see the same kind of excitement and learning that I experienced, and it feels great to help fellow students take full advantage of the resources the Finance Club offers.

What is one piece of advice that you would tell your first-year self?

The days may feel long, but the years fly by. Don’t let any opportunity slip by; you don’t want to look back and wish you had taken that chance.
